Production and Content

Wild Arts

Founded in 2022, Wild Arts is a charitable organisation aimed at making great music fresh, enjoyable, and available to everyone – all while working within the confines of what the planet can support.

Max has been a freelance producer and content creator for Wild Arts since their 2023 summer tour, designing and writing their website, programmes, and other content, and organising auditions, performances, and events.

26

Founded in 2003 by seven writers who wanted to champion the importance of words in all aspects of life, 26 (named for the letters of the English alphabet) is a not-for-profit organisation for writers and anyone who believes in the power of words.

Max has been a volunteer with 26 since 2022, and a member of their board since 2024. As well as compiling and editing their monthly newsletter, he contributes articles, takes part in projects, and produces events (including the annual Wordstock Festival in Bloomsbury).

Learning and Engagement

Glyndebourne (2022-23)

Glyndebourne is one of the most celebrated opera houses in the world, based in East Sussex and delivering performances to 150,000 people across a summer Festival and autumn season.

Max joined Glyndebourne in 2022 as part of their year-round learning and engagement programme, assisting with workshops and audience engagement (primarily across their Autumn tour), as well as chaperoning, and joining the Glyndebourne chorus for their schools performances of Mozart’s Requiem.

Scribeasy (2023)

Scribeasy seek to unlock the creative potential of children, using their own unique creative writing software (built around practical and visual learning tools) to encourage young people to find their story.

Max helped with several projects around East London across 2023, including collaborations with Lambeth Council (on their Superzones project for primary schools) and Parentskills2Go (providing support and creative activities for parents and carers with young children).
